Check out the bar at Sorrento Ristorante. They have great wines by the glass, and it’s just a cool environment to sit and have a drink.

It’s a great place to try Italian food in Houston.

They are on Westheimer inside of Montrose. They just opened a new Italian Restaurant in Kingwood, with the same name.

Sorrento is best known for doing corporate and private dinner parties. They are fantastic.

Valentino Vin Bar, located inside Hotel Derek in the Galleria area of Houston,  is hosting an evening full of outstanding wines and food Wednesday, July 27th.  Wines from the Coppola Director’s Cut and Diamond Collections will be accompanied by passed appetizers and 3 courses from the Valentino kitchen.

Wine dinner at Wine Tasting Room

The Tasting Room is proud to announce its partnership with Gourmet Magazine to bring you a spectacular wine dinner and weekend event.  This superb culinary experience will take place on Saturday April 4, 2009, in the luxurious Reserve Room in The Tasting Room at Uptown Park.  Diners will enjoy a nine-course gourmet dinner, featuring exquisite wines from around the world, as well as TTR’s gourmet Sunday jazz brunch the next day.

Cru Domain Wine Dinner

Join Cru Domain Wine Bar Woodlands on Wednesday April 1st at 6:30pm for a celebration of the 1st Anniversary at Cru Domain with a special four-course wine dinner paired with wines from Rombauer Vineyards.
