Le Grand Salon de La Comtesse is a beautifully restored French Ballroom from the estate of the Count and Countess Greffulhe

Originally carved for French Royalty, Circa 1715, the oak panels were installed in 1891 in the country estate of Comte Henry Greffulhe near Foutenailles, outside Paris. As an architectural setting for the Salon of Princess Elisabeth de Caraman-Chimay, La Comtesse Greffulhe, this exquisite room was the scene of the supreme social and cultral flowering of the fin-de-seicle refinement. Le Grand Salon was the scene of the last great ball of European royalty prior to World War I. Guests of Le Grand Salon included Czar Nicholas of Russia, Caruso, Pasteur, Curie, Wagner, Marconi and Proust. Today Le Grand Salon is the ultimate old world European venue in Houston for weddings, seated dinners, and meetings

Rogelio De La Fuente - a man of great personality - has had the winery for over 40 years. Its specializes in Estate Grown and Bottled wines. Their signatures are: Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Carmenere.
Sauvignon Blanc – A crisp fresh fruity wine, perfect with shellfish or fresh strawberries

Chardonnay – A balanced wine great with pork, chicken and salmon. Mushrooms and avocado are good with this wine.

Cabernet Sauvignon – A great mellow red wine that goes well with venison, brisket, black beans and beef.

Merlot – A fantastic choice with bar-b-que. A wine rich and full of flavor.
